报告人简介🧑🏿🚀：Takeo Ohsaka 教授是日本东京工业大学教授⭕️🤵🏽♂️，国际上著名的电化学家🛕。燃料电池，活性氧研究🧘👨🏿💼，纳米材料，生物物理化学等领域的资深科学家。特别是由其领导的研究小组在纳米材料对活性氧物质的检测方面的研究，在国际上广受认可，成果突出👩🏽🦱⏸，已在国际上著名杂志发表学术论文多篇，专著多篇👲🏿。
报告内容简介：We demonstrated a remarkable enhancement of Oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) activity on a novel Pt/TaOx/GC electrocatalyst where at first tantalum oxide and next Pt were deposited electrochemically on a glass carbon surface. An excellent electrocatalytic activity of the Pt/TaOx/GC electrocatalyst for ORR was found to be more than 12 times that of the unmodified Pt/GC. The spillover of oxygen-containing species resulting from the electronic interaction between Pt and TaOx and is strongly suggested as the crucial factor for the ORR enhancement. A plausible mechanism has been proposed for the observed enhancement in ORR.
